In my almost 35 years as a believer, change almost NEVER happens as a result of my trying to change something. Rather - change happens on the way, as I do whatever it takes to get me in the presence of the One who truly changes things. Paul talks of trying to change himself in his letter to the Romans (Ch7 I think... I am away from the Bible at the moment).... didn&#039;t work for him. But just like the woman with the issue of blood who surged forward to touch his garment as He passed by (and was changed), we should be imitators of this dear lady and surge forward and do whatever it takes to get in the path of the Master of our destiny so we too can be changed.
